Join us on Saturday, November 14th for the 2026 Appalachian Show in Rocky Top, Tennessee at Norris Dam State Park’s Appalachian Center. Our health checker will be set up and ready to see your mice starting at 11:00, and our show will begin at noon. If you’d like to bring mice to enter as under eight weeks (pups), those pups should be born between 9/19 and 10/17. Adult mice of course would be any mouse born before 9/19. All mice entering must have been born before October 17th, and no mothers of pups younger than that will be allowed at the show. Entries will open on Halloween, October 31st, and close on November 7th, with invoices sent on the 8th and due by the 12th. Of course, all mice must be entered by their breeder, even if those mice have since been sold.

Our pre-show quarantine will begin on October 15th and run until the day of the show. This means that any mice attending the
show should not be exposed to any new animals, and mice with any symptoms of communicable disease during that time period
should not be brought to the show. The park itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the cabins on site are fantastic (and do allow mice!). Nearby restaurants have great food and excellent scenery.

U8 Eligibility Birth Dates: 9/19-10/17
If your mouse was born between the above dates, that mouse should be entered as a U8, meaning a pup. If the mouse was born prior to 9/19, the mouse should be entered as an adult. If the mouse is born after 10/17, the mouse is too young to attend the show.

Quarantine Begins: 10/15
Quarantine for any FMBA-sponsored event begins 30 days prior to the event. During this time, no attendee may expose their mice to new animals from outside of their own mousery, nor bring their mice elsewhere and then return them to the mousery. Non-mouse animals attending the show (for trades, sales, etc) should also participate in quarantine. For more information about quarantine, check out the full explanation here: https://fmbamice.com/general-care/quarantine/

Entries Open: 10/31
Entries Close: 11/7

Only FMBA members are eligible to enter mice into the show. Entry forms will be available on our website starting on Hallowen, and we will no longer accept entries after November 7th. If you are not a member, you can also join the club at this time. Unpaid invoices, whether for membership or for entries, will result in entries being denied at the show.

Health check will be conducted on the day of the show, at the show hall. All animals entering the show hall must be health checked by FMBA health inspectors before entering the hall. Animals turned away for reason of disease must be sequestered. Sale or trade of animals in the parking lot of the event is not allowed, nor may animals be left in vehicles for the durat
